Shelly has been a cornerstone of the pet department for decades and a night manager. Shelly is just so darn easy to like and so unquestionably responsible and dependable. About a decade ago Shelly and her family moved further out into the countryside to make more space for her horses, dogs and cattle. She has created a rural charm that would tempt the city dweller.
| This is the most important image of Shelly's garden. If you look real, real close you can see her horses and cattle in the background. I don't think Shelly spends a lot of time sitting in the shade. | |
| Shelly has a variety of perennials. She favors mass plantings of each variety. | |
| Sweet Autumn Clematics smother the rail of one deck. The fall fragrance is wonderful. | |
| This old Trumpet Vine is huge. Climbing the bricks, it offers food for the hummers. | |
| Rustic and charming, Shelly has her own water feature. | |
| I need to come back earlier in the spring next year to catch this row of peoney in bloom! | |
| Or a little later to catch this coneflower row in bloom! | |
| Neat and organized as always, Shelly has vegetables growing in a sunny patch. | |
| This is my idea of an apple tree. Apples you can reach! Shelly grows peaches, cherries and grapes as well. | |
| The Old Wagon, resting in a shady spot. | |
| Shelly is very excited the hydrengea she planted last year is turning blue! | |
| At the end of the day Shelly may sit and enjoy the many bird feeders and bird houses scattered about. | |
| But she is more likely doing her chores and playing with her pets. |
