George's Special Tip For Keeping Christmas Trees Fresh. . .

        This is George's special "Secret Tip for making trees not burn.  He tested his method, holding a flame to a tree outside and could not get the tree to burn until mid summer.  The directions are very specific.  Follow them exactly.

     Cut 2" off the bottom of the tree within 30 minutes of placing it in the stand with fluid.  Use 8-10 oz. of preservative and very, very hot water for the first filling.  The water should be as hot as the tap will provide.  Refill daily with steaming hot water.  George refills his bowl twice a day, once in the morning before work and once in the evening after work.  He leaves his tree up for more than a month and it stays fresh and green using this method.

     Never let the bowl dry out.  If the water is gone even once you are wasing your time watering it.  The tree will seal the wound and take up no more water.  Be sure to keep the bowl filled at all times.
