This baby Blue And Gold Macaw is one month old.  He may live to be 50 years or more.

He struggles to hold his head up.  As an adult he will be able to break a broom handle with his beak.

As he is mostly bald, he is kept in a glass tank in the bird room.  Temp and humidity are set to keep him comfy.

The baby Blue is now about three months old.  He is getting much stronger and growing a lot more feathers.  He still has to stay in the climate control bird room.

His little fuzzy pal keeps him company.  He now knows when it is dinner time.  His chest is still just fuzzy feathers.

The baby Blue is now about four months old.  He is out of the bird room.  He is developing a personality.  He is very social now and ready to meet you.  He is able to perch on the lowest level.  He still has his stuffed buddy with him.

The baby Blue is now strong and handsome and very interested in people.  He is wanting to leave his cage and explore.  He climbs his cage and exercises.
