River Action's Retain the Rain program is an initiative to conserve water and lower flood levels in local rivers and streams.  Perhaps the simplest action that can be taken to reduce runoff is to collect the rain that runs off our residential homes and commercial buildings. 

Recycled plastic rain barrel comes with downspout converter.  You can purchase your rain barrel at Teske's and take it home.  Your money will go to River Action.
