Puppies!

Teske's frequently houses a variety of puppies including purebreds, designer breeds and mixed breed mutts.  Our puppies are from local professional breeders and household pets who have had litters (planned and unplanned).  We do not house adult dogs due to our space limitations.  If an adult dog would best suit your needs we suggest you visit one of the local shelters as they will be most happy to place their pets in a loving home.  All Teske puppies leave with their first set of shots and worming.  You will get a free bag of the food your puppy has been eating.

Kittens!

Teske's has some pure bred cats, however, the majority of our kittens are mixed breed.  Our cats are from local breeders and lots and lots of accidents.  We recommend all pets be neutered.  Every winter we have a shortage of kittens.  Most cats will not mate when it is difficult to raise their young.  If you must have a cat before Easter and we have no kittens to offer, consider giving an adult cat from a shelter your home.  All Teske kittens have their first shots and worming.  You will get a free bag of the food your kitten has been eating when you take her home.

Birds!

Teske's has a large variety of birds.  Small birds include finch, canary and parakeet.  Cockatiels are very popular.  The larger birds are all hand fed.  Please see the pages on baby birds to learn more on the benefits of hand fed birds.  Keep in mind that the larger the bird, the longer it may live.  Parrots will be with you for a long time.

Small Animals!

Teske's has a variety of small animals.  We almost always have gerbils and hamsters and mice and rats.  Sometimes we have ferrets and hedgehogs and chinchillas.  Most of our animals do not stay with us for very long.  Most find a new home very quickly.

Rats!

I don't like rats.  But, hey, some people love them.  We have reptiles and fish, too.  I'll show you some soon.
