With over 50 Yrs. of service at Teske's, Norma Jean has seen it all more than once.  NJ has spent many years as outside plant manager.  Living in the heart of town with a small yard, NJ has packed in a variety of food and flowers with a few paths along the way.  Many of the tropicals she winters over inside the house during our cold winters.

When NJ plants it, it grows big.  These sunny perennials stand tall in her front yard.
Norma Jean has a large variety of sun loving perennials.
This retaining wall almost holds back the many, many blossoms.
Sedum spilling out among the pavers is a favorite for NJ.
The transition to her back yard is a jungle!  Canna and Elephant Ears grow in tubs all along the drive.  I have seen the hummingbirds eating at the blossoms.
Porcelean Vine frames the garage.  This energetic grower has tiny white blossoms and blue berries for the birds.  It is also a favorite of Japanese Beetles.

Raised beds make growing veggies a little easier.  But, they aren't enough to keep out the ground hogs.  After her groundhog family feasted on the first planting, NJ started a second planting and protected it with chicken wire.

This path leads you to a variety of plants.  Berries, vegetables, perennials all tangle together.
I think this charming swing is more to look at than sit on.  I don't think NJ sits still very often.
Squash grow along the fence that protects tomatoes from those ground hogs.  With NJ, no space is wasted.
