Lawn Food Plus Crabgrass And Weed Preventer        With Barricade

May be applied earlier than other Crabgrass Preventers.  Contains Barricade for 6 month control. Apply after second mowing and when Forcythia are in bloom.  Usually April in our area.  If you want to do something earlier apply NGT to your lawn.  Water with an inch of water after applying Crabgrass Preventer.  16-0-8.

Step #2

Weed & Feed

Apply when dandelions are growing and temps are in the mid 50's or higher.  Usually in May in our area.  This product contains a full feeding plus weed killer for 33 different weeds.  Water the day before application.  Sprinkle lawn directly before applying or apply in the morning when dew is on the lawn or directly after a rain while the grass is still wet.  Do not water or allow rain for 24 hrs. after application.   Difficult weeds like Violetssand creeping charlie will need a follow up spot treatment several days later with a liquid weed killer like Weed Out or Weed Free Zone.  15-5-10.

Step #3

Grub Free Zone

Apply in Mid July To August.  Systemic Insecticide.  Kills for the entire hatch season.  Proper application time is important.  Grub Free Zone does not contain fertilizer.  Water in with an inch of water.

Step #4

Milorganite

Apply in September.  Slow release organic fertilizer.  Teske's Milorganite is professional strength.  This is a larger bag and a stronger formula than the home Milorganite you see at the mass retailers.  Organics improve the soil for longer lasting results.  Water well after application.  6-2-0.

Step #5

Winterizer

Apply in October through November.  The most important feeding of the year.  It will contiue to work on growing roots and building stems for strength, even under our first snow.  Lawns will green up faster in spring after Winterizer.  Water well after application or apply before rain.  10-0-14.
